Questions about buying an AC.
How many BTU do I need for my room?
Rule of thumb: about 9,000 BTU up to ~20–25 m², 12,000 BTU for 25–35 m², 18,000 BTU for 35–50 m², 24,000 BTU for 50–70 m². But high ceilings, large windows and western exposure increase the need — that’s why we do the sizing for free before you buy.
Inverter or on-off?
For daily use (home, bedrooms): inverter — it consumes noticeably less and holds a steady temperature. On-off only makes sense for very rare use (e.g. a guest room). We give you the real comparison for your usage, not for our margin.
Which brands do you recommend?
We work with the brands actually available in Albania with spare parts and service: Midea, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Toshiba, Haier, Toyotomi. Within each brand there are tiers — we explain what you’re really paying for at each level.
Is installation included in the price?
Yes — when we supply the unit, installation (from €110 for a standard split) is included in the closed quote. No “then find a technician yourself”: we leave the unit installed and tested.
How does the warranty work?
The units we supply carry the official manufacturer’s warranty, documented with an invoice. And as the installation team, our work is covered by us — if anything comes from the installation, we come back at no cost.
Do you advise on ACs for a rental apartment?
Yes — for rentals we recommend durable units with reasonable consumption and a simple remote, not the most expensive model. The goal: a unit that survives many tourist seasons with minimal maintenance.
